NKORANSA YOUTH POND AND CHASE OUT DCE

From: Michael Sarpong Mfum, Nkoransa

The Nkoransa Youth in the Brong Ahafo Region have pond and chased out the Nkoransa North District Chief Executive, Kwadwo Adjei Dwemoh aka Nana Agyantutu.

The DCE, Kwadwo Adjei Dwemoh was part of a programme organised by the MP for Nkoransa North, Major (Rtd) Derek Oduro as to how they could retrieve their monies locked up with DKM Micro-finance Limited and other micro-finance companies in the area.

The aggrieved youth stormed the event grounds after hearing that the DCE was part of the programme and started throwing the sachet water at him. This disrupted the programme which was well attended.

According to the angry youth since they started having problems with DKM Micro-Finance, God Is Love Fun Club the DCE has never commented on the issue. The police have to whisked Hon. Kwadwo Adjei Dwemoh away for safety.

The aggrieved youth lead by Nana Nyarko Ababio, had earlier on  invoked a powerful local deity ‘Tom Kramo’ and the entire shrines in the Nkoransa Traditional Area to deal with anyone whoever campaign and vote in the 2016 elections in Nkoransa and the entire Brong Ahafo Region.

Nana Nyarko Ababio said what they did was to tell the authorities that they are aggrieved. The District Level Elections was postponed last year in the Nkoransa North and South Districts because of the agitations from the youth who threatened to disrupt the elections.

Thousands of customers of DKM Microfinance, God Is Love Fun Club and Care For Humanity, Jastar Motors Investment and Little Drops Association have hit the streets of Nkoransa to register their displeasure over the failure of authorities to ensure the payment of their investments.
